How does the course work?

Let me explain how the course works...

The course is done by printing out and doing worksheets set in our private student area and the information for the worksheets is based on the book below which you will need to buy

5th edition of Introductory Guide to Anatomy and Physiology by Louise Tucker,

Jackie will send you the link to Amazon so you can easily buy it.  (PS I have also scanned a couple of the first few pages of the first piece of work so that you may start this course immediately and don't have to wait for the post!)louise tucker 5th edition Anatomy book buy from link to amazon

This is what the ITEC multiple choice exam is based on

You follow the coursework schedule in the Anatomy Course Homework Section of our Student Area (access given once you sign up and pay for the course)

The homework to download is clearly indicated, as shown below – print this out and put it in your folder

example of homework schedule

See  below - this is what the homework looks like when you print it out  - and you just fill in the gaps using the Louise Tucker Book

answers from the book

Once the homework is completed you print out and do the test – mark the test with the answer sheet.

It is really straight forward, and students are relieved that it is so clear, simple and well organised - it makes your studying and learning easier - which is the whole point!

There is another part to the course to help you with revision – the ITEC on screen part

This is for revision purposes only and is not the main course

This is a bit more wizzy than the worksheets and it is all based on the same Louise Tucker Anatomy book - so it all fits in together and makes sense.

What our students say about this course

jane spilsbury

Thanks for the email, I seem to be doing fine with the anatomy, I am following your guidance and it seems to be working!! so a big thank you, I am now starting skin chapter, I will contact you as soon as things aren't sinking in or I feel swamped under, but so far its fine, thanks. Rebecca

Hi Jackie - thanks so much for your reply and the study timetable. In fact, I have just got to grips with the calender on my ipad which is similar to the timetable - and is really useful for being able to see large blocks of time and organizing time for my A&P. I've planned out what I have to do before the holidays get here - it's probably quite good practice before I begin the reflexology course to start organizing my time better Cat

Have just completed the test you sent on 1st 3 systems. I got 9/12. So some is going in at least! Melissa

Thanks so much for your emails it’s great to get so much encouragement. As it is for everyone life is hectic but I am really determined to get this virtually completed before the reflexology course starts. I am just about to start the cardiovascular system, the muscular system was hard in that there were so much to try and remember but all I can do is to keep revising it. I have the colouring book which is great and the games are so helpful especially if you need to relax it a bit, but all in all its a great course and made as easy as possible for us to understand (thankfully!)
